The San
Francisco Unified School District and City of San Francisco
shared in the funding of the new Tenderloin Neighborhood
Elementary School and community center.
The new,
$17 million, 67,000 sf. four-story school and community center
includes several innovative features such as community gardens,
roof-top play yards, clinic for medical, dental & counseling
services, and adult education and parent resource facilities.
